Description
Common name: spider plant, airplane plant
Family name: Asparagaceae
Approximate height: 6"
Color:
- Foliage: leaves are green with a white central stripe.
- Bloom: -
Light requirements: Bright indirect light to maintain the variegation. Able to tolerate lower light levels. Keep out of direct sunlight as it can cause the leaves to scorch.
Water: Keep soil evenly moist during the summer months. The roots will act as a reservoir for water making it slightly drought resistant. The chemicals in tap water can build up in the roots and eventually kill the plant. For better results let water sit for a few hours before watering or use distilled water/ rain water.
